CFA Production Book:
Just in case you prefer to do things old school (paper and a clipboard) check out the CFA Production Book. This packet contains everything you need to keep your production organized and on track. Forms include shooting schedule, shot log, storyboard template, release forms, etc.
The entire book is in MS Word format, so you can fill in the forms on your computer or print them out and photocopy them. Download Here
Jahshaka Video Editing Software:Jahshaka is a multi-platform opensource program for video editing.
Although I haven't had the chance to fully test it, Jahshaka seems really promising. For a lot of people, programs like FinalCut Pro have a learning curve that borders on sadistic (not to mention the big price tag), but iMovie and Windows MovieMaker lack the features for serious editing. Jahshaka seems designed to fill the gap. It's free, has lot of features, and seems a lot more intuitive than other editing programs.

Detailed plans for a DIY "Glidecam." The parts & materials are available at your local Home Depot & construction is pretty straightforward. I've looked at all kinds of camera stabilizer plans and this is definitely one of the best I've found.
