Gerneral questions about CFA
- How is CFA organized?
CFA began in 2003 as a kind of social club for local filmmakerss- a place for people to hang out and talk about movies.
Today CFA is a more formal organization with a variety of programs to support indie filmmaking.
Currently our staff consists of David Pruett, Executive Director; David Robb and Leya Taylor, Public Relations/Marketing; and Clare Canzoneri, grant applications and festival programming. Our current board of directors are John Howard- Executive Director of Bloomington Media Arts Group, and Marc Tchida- John Waldron Arts Center.
- Why does CFA exist?
CFA promotes and supports independent filmmaking in Indiana by providing networking and exhibition opportunities, as well as workshops and monetary grants.
- Who is CINEPHILE?
CFA is a Bloomington based non-profit arts organization and registered student group of Indiana University. We have an executive director and a board of directors, as well as volunteers and interns.
